Our thriving Devon bakery wouldn't be where it is today without the amazing team of artisan bakers, decorators, packers, weighers, drivers and washer uppers we have around us.

We've grown a team who are filled with ideas, passion and drive, who we rely on to churn out pallet after pallet of top quality cakes, traybakes and scones.

Each and every one of them do their bit to keep the wheels turning. For that, we salute you!

OUR STORY

It all began one snowy day in the French Alps.

Our passion for homemade baking and our love for cooking took us to the French Alps where we spent the winter of 2009 providing top quality food for our chalet guests. We perfected a number of recipes and produced a large range of cakes and sweet treats that were devoured by our guests on a daily basis.

Upon returning to the UK, we decided to turn the skills we have in the kitchen into a business, and so in 2010 Truly Treats was formed.

The business was ran from home, initially, trading at farmers markets and local events and we built up a good reputation supplying cakes for Devon cafes, weddings and celebrations.

SETTING UP OUR FIRST DEVON BAKERY

In 2012 we moved into a commercial premise in Teignmouth, Devon, fully kitting out our first bakery. Here, we were able to increase production and start our journey as a wholesale cake supplier.

The business continued to grow organically, and in 2015 we moved to bigger and better premises in Paignton, Devon.

Over the years Truly Treats has gone from strength to strength, employing more skilled bakers and decorators to keep up with demand.

KINGSTEIGNTON BAKERY

One final move in 2019 took us to our current bakery in Kingsteignton, Devon, where we plan to stay. Moving a bakery is not an easy task!

Our attention is now focused on expanding the wholesale side of the business. We hope that our cakes, traybakes and scones will be available to customers throughout the UK over the next few years.

We continually develop new and exciting bakery products to keep things fresh for our team and our customers. We're not ones to sit still!
